The Bayeux Tapestry is a 70-metre long embroidery that was stitched in the 11th century. It celebrates the conquest of England by William the Conqueror, Duke of Normandy. The tapestry museum is open all year round from 9 am to 6:30 pm in summer & from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm & 2 pm to 6 pm in winter. To accompany your visits, various aids are at your disposal, as well as a reservation service for groups.
